Former NRL Player – I Played professional rugby league for teams like the New Zealand Warriors, Penrith Panthers, and Manly Sea Eagles before retiring in 2016.
Founder of YKTR – Launched YKTR (You Know The Rules) in 2017, a streetwear brand built on storytelling, content, and culture.
Mentor & Speaker – Regularly speaks at events and mentors athletes, business owners, and content creators on branding, storytelling, and entrepreneurship.

My first YouTube videos were focused on behind-the-scenes insights into building YKTR, personal development, and business lessons from my experiences as an athlete-turned-entrepreneur.
I'm 36 years old , born in Tokoroa, New Zealand. I now live on the Gold Coast.

My journey from Athlete to entrepreneur

My Entreprenuer journey started back in 2017 while I was transitioning from professional rugby league into business. After retiring from the NRL in 2016, I knew I wanted to build something beyond sport. That’s when YKTR was born—a brand that started with clothing but quickly evolved into media and storytelling.

Back then, I started creating videos to document my journey as an entrepreneur, sharing insights on business, branding, and mindset. This was also when I launched YKTR Media, a platform dedicated to educating and entertaining through sports, business, and culture.

Fast forward a few years, and my content started focusing more on personal branding and helping others build their own businesses. I’d spend every spare moment planning new content, brainstorming ideas, and refining my message.

By 2020, I had built a strong online presence and a loyal audience. With that momentum, I launched The Ice Project podcast, where I share lessons on business, mindset, and personal branding. At the same time, I expanded my reach through keynote speaking and mentorship, helping athletes and entrepreneurs turn their passions into sustainable careers.

Since then, YKTR and my personal brand have grown into an expanding business. My online presence has allowed me to scale beyond clothing, build a life I love, and help others do the same. Now, I spend my time creating content, growing my brand, and guiding others on how to take control of their future through personal branding and business.
